“End of Summer” RAA Orchard Picnic Party_ Wednesday_ September 30th_ 1-4pm_ Stanley Dollar Clubhouse

Rossmoor Art Association Invites All To Its Annual Party Sept. 30

The Rossmoor Art Association Annual Party is set for Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1-4 p.m. and features food, live music, wine (BYO), a slide show, and an expansive display of RAA members’ fine art.

The setting is the lovely garden patio and indoors at the Stanley Dollar Clubhouse. Join the festivities and mingle with many resident artists, including instructors and board members. The “Just Us” duet will entertain with blues and country music. The event, a celebration of Rossmoor’s fine artists, is open to all residents and guests.

A show of about 40 works of art make for a special opportunity to view the works of many talented artists. Those who want to exhibit their works can drop off up to two wired artworks, at 10:30-11 a.m., or bring when you arrive. The party starts at 1 p.m. All art has to be removed by 4 p.m. when the picnic party ends.

Members of the RAA, their guests and others interested in art and socializing with the RAA art community are invited to attend. The charge for attendance is $20 for RAA members and $25 for non-members. Visit the website: www.rossmoorart.com click Class tab for information and reservations. The RAA offers classes in a wide range of mediums: watercolor, oil, acrylic, drawing, and mixed media. There are beginning to advanced levels. Areas of interest include Portrait, Plein Aire, Landscape, and live model.

By joining the Rossmoor Art Association, residents benefit from a fee reduction on events such as this annual party, on classes, and membership includes use of the art studios. Taking classes is an ideal way to have fun while making new friends. RAA members are invited to exhibit their work in Rossmoor, and invited to festive soirees in which an artist is interviewed, while exhibiting their works.
