Demonstration: Framing Methods for your artwork May 31
Ann Elliott and Flora Baumann are offering a free class in framing and hanging requirements for exhibitions in the RAA art shows on May 31, 2025, 9:30 to 11:30 am in Studio 1.
In addition, they will recommend specific materials to use in framing and how to either do it yourself or how to use framing businesses in our community. They will bring materials they each use for framing their own work and suggest online businesses where they order the materials.
Ann will concentrate on watercolor/acrylic/collage/pastel work done on paper, gesso board, aqua board, or even mat board.
Flora will show how to frame oil paintings done on canvas and linen or other cradled wood panels.
After the presentation workshop participants may bring their own work to frame and get expert help and advice.
There is no cost for the workshop but spaces are limited.
Only the first 20 people to register will be able to attend.
